Patrick Shami

Patrick is a Democratic strategist who specializes in messaging and management. His approach to campaign management emphasizes methodical implementation of carefully crafted processes and plans. With over a decade of experience in the political mail industry, Patrick is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of the firm, including business development and overseeing the firm’s production process.

After working five years at a national mail firm based in Kansas City, Patrick founded TJP Strategies with the purpose of electing Democratic candidates who believe in good government and improving the quality of life for their constituents. Patrick has been involved in several landmark victories throughout his career, from flipping legislative and municipal seats to securing key wins in competitive Democratic primaries.

Patrick holds a Master of Political Science degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. As the son of a Persian Iranian immigrant, Patrick is passionate about exploring different cultures and sharing in diverse experiences. He lives the Kansas City area with his wife, Michaela Rowland, and their daughter, Evaline.
